Mr. Wm. Barneveld... is currently retired after serving as principal/COO of John Knox Christian School in Woodstock, Ontario, where he served for the past 14 years. He served as principal for 17 years at Toronto District Christian High School. He has been awarded a B.A. from the University of Toronto, 1966 and M.A. from the University of Western Ontario, 1973. His list of certificates include the Ontario Teacher's Certificate, Ontario Christian School Teacher's Certificate, Ontario Principal's Certificate and the Ontario Christian School Principal's Diploma. Bill also served as a Secondary school teacher for 11 years, 3 years at the Toronto District Christian High School, and 8 years at Northern Collegiate Institute and Vocational School, in Sarnia, Ontario. Dr. A. Guldemond, Vice Chair... is President of CHI. He developed the vision for the organization as a sideline to his main vocation, being the Executive Director (from 1979 - 2009) of the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS) an association of 79 schools serving over 13,000 students. Before joining the OACS is 1979, he served Christian education as a high school teacher and administrator at Toronto District Christian High School. Dr. Guldemond teachers part-time for Redeemer University College, Calvin College, and Bethany Bible College in graduate courses in education administration and serves on the boards of many charitable organizations. Lorna Keith, Secretary... Lorna began her teaching career in the public sector in Montreal, QC. She was called into administration at Emmanuel Christian School, Dorval, and this was followed by 21 years as principal of John Knox Christian School in Oakville, ON. She has served on various boards and committees, such as the Ontario Christian School Administrator Association (OCSAA), the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS), Worldwide Christian Schools (WWCS), and the Christian Schools International (CSI) Accreditation Council. Ms. A. Klamer, Treasurer... after receiving a BA degree in Secondary Education at Calvin College,  taught French and German at Hamilton District Christian High School from 1976 - 1980. Then she taught at Smithville District Christian High School from 1980 - 1986. Alice is President of Blue Sky Nursery Ltd., a company which she and her late husband started in 1980. Her love for Christian education was demonstrated by serving on school committees. She served on the board of John Knox Christian School in Fruitland from 1996 - 2000 and the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools Board from 1996 - 2002. Currently, she is on the board of Smithville District Christian High School. Mr. John Lunshof... has been the Principal/COO of John Knox Christian School in Oakville for the past five years. Previously, he was principal in Thunder Bay, St. Thomas, Port Perry, Wyoming and Alliston Ontario.  He holds a B.Ed and a Masters as well as the Christian School Principals Certificate (CSPC) and the Christian School Teachers Certificate (CSTC). John has served on several boards such as the Ontario Christian School Teachers Association (OCSTA), Ontario Christian Administrators Association (OCSAA) and the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS). He will be retiring at the end of the 2010 school year after a 37 year career in which he served 34.5 as a principal. Mr. G. Steggerda, Chair... has over 27 years experience in the Information Technology industry, covering a broad variety of areas including large-scale project management, systems development, strategic planning and disaster recovery planning. He has been exposed to a number of industries, including manufacturing, retail, government, insurance and marketing. Prior to joining NCR Canada in 1977, Gerry was the Vice President, Information Technolgy for an emergency medical call center, Director of Information Technology for a large Canadian Charity and Director of Information Technology for a large government retailer. Gerry has also served as a volunteer on various Christian School Communities and boards and is presently a member of the Ontario Alliance Christian Schools Board of Directors.
